At Seedy Fruit Wine Company, we let apples, pears, and local harvests do what they do best — turning into something quietly extraordinary, one batch at a time.
Our Story
Seedy Fruit Wine Company started with a simple conviction: that fruit wine deserves more attention than it gets. Most commercial versions cut corners — added sugar, artificial flavoring, rushed timelines. We do the opposite.
Located in the rolling hills of Milton, Vermont, we work with locally sourced apples, pears, and seasonal stone fruit. Every batch is fermented slowly, aged patiently, and bottled without hurry. The result is wine that tastes like the fruit it came from — bright, honest, and unmistakably Vermont.
We're not a mega-producer. We're a small team that believes the best things take time — and that every bottle should tell the story of where it grew.
Our Selection
Each variety reflects the season it was made from — no two vintages are identical, and that's exactly how we like it.
Dry, crisp, and lifted with the tart character of Vermont orchard apples. A wine that tastes like autumn in a glass.
Dry · Apple
Silky and aromatic with the gentle sweetness of ripe Bosc pears. Subtle spice on the finish, never heavy.
Off-Dry · Pear
Made from whatever the season offers — peaches, cherries, plums. A limited release that changes every year.
Variable · SeasonalOur Process
There are no shortcuts in fruit wine. Here's what every batch goes through before it reaches your glass.
We hand-select apples, pears, and stone fruit from Vermont orchards at peak ripeness — never from concentrate.
The fruit is crushed and transferred to food-grade vessels, where wild and cultured yeasts begin the slow work of fermentation.
Time does the rest. Our wines rest for months, developing complexity and clarity without artificial intervention.
Each batch is bottled by hand, labeled with its lot number, and released when it's ready — not before.
Kind Words
We let the bottles do the talking — but our customers can't help themselves.
I've tried fruit wines from all over the Northeast, and nothing compares to what Seedy makes. The orchard cider has this brightness I haven't found anywhere else.
Bought a case of the pear wine for a dinner party and it was the first bottle to go empty. Everyone asked where we got it. Now I order two cases.
You can taste the care in every sip. It's obvious this isn't made in a factory — it's made by people who actually enjoy what they're doing.
